Art Sparks Pop-Up: Hands-On Social
Cost: $20
Artists Carol Bershad and Nan Rumpf will facilitate the session, using the Art Sparks deck they’ve published to inspire creative ideas for water media painters. The event is taking place at the Reynolds Teaching, Learning and Creativity (TLC) Studios & Media Lab in Dedham Square. Free sample cards for each attendee.
(open to the public; a fun way for water media artists to get unstuck, explore new ideas, and try new techniques.)
Bring your own water media supplies: watercolors, acrylics, or gouache paints; paper or other substrate; brushes; water container; pencil. Optional assorted art materials: glue stick, collage materials, scissors.
Carol Bershad: An educator and artist with a background in High School Biology, her work focuses on landscapes, animals, and florals. She has studied watercolor, gouache, and Chinese brush painting and is a board member of the Newton Watercolor Society.
Nan Rumpf: A nationally recognized water media artist, known for her experimental approach and teaching through Zoom. She is affiliated with Dedham Art Association, the Wellesley Society of Artists and the New England Watercolor Society.
Registration ends February 22nd or when the session is filled.
